The last post was two weeks ago. Time to come back after a break, so to speak.

I took almost no pictures during those two weeks, just a few shots during an outing with a local photographer's hangout like a week ago.

Tired, launching a new project at work, and it's all taking up quite a bit of time, leaving almost no given for photos.

But there is good news from a photographic point of view - at the end of the month I am going to one of the small towns on the coast of Normandy, where I only plan to walk and take pictures. And eat seafood, of course.

The expression on the model's face somehow hints at my plans.

Well, today I'm just going to post another batch of old portrait photos.

In truth, I'm still trying to find models to photograph here in France. But I've already mentioned it several times - I don't know the language well enough for that.

But I hope that being a part of the English-speaking photographers in Paris will also open doors for me in this direction. Still, the number of English-speaking people here is quite high, or maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place. Just kidding.

Collecting old photos from the archives - I wonder how I had so much free time to shoot back then. Ehhh, where are my 20 years.

Well and by the way, which is pretty rare - I still have a photo archive of those times so I can pull old pictures out of it, and again I'll be honest - process them in a new, shall we say modern way and publish them.

I have a true story when I lost my archives completely twice (!). Both times it was the failure of a hard drive, and the funny thing is that the second time it was a backup hard drive, where I had made a copy while I was busy with my computer.

And a little Easter egg, for those of my readers who read the stories to the end:

I remember the history of this picture very well. First, I got the commuter train mixed up, and almost went in the wrong direction. When I arrived at the scene it turned out to be a nasty drizzle, which definitely added to the mood of the photo, but also diminished the mood of the model, which is to be expected in this weather.

And the mosquitoes. It took me a while to get them out of the picture.

See you next week, I really hope that I can prepare enough material for a post about the town called Fécamp
