Good afternoon, dear readers!

First of all, I would like to congratulate you on the coming year 2024. We're here!
Well, and by tradition, to please with photos of birds, today we have in the program tits, robin, and a couple more frequent inhabitants of our forest

Surprisingly, in the photo above you can observe Robin in an uncharacteristic phase - "Just sitting", usually I get them in the mode - "Sitting, yelling!".
Apparently we're in the middle of winter here, and yelling in the cold is a dubious idea. Although who am I kidding, -5, which promises next week, it's not that it's winter, and there is no snow according to the forecast. There is a desire to go to the woods, where to the north, to maybe catch some snow there. I have such a hope, although it is a bit unfounded

I'm to the fact that not the first time in my head comes to my mind the thought of going to the north, for example in Oulu (a city in the north of Finland, near the residence of Santa Claus) Without snow in winter is certainly very nice, but that - that straight already want, and go for it in the French Alps is expensive

And good news for all bird lovers - kingfishers have been spotted in the Bois de Boulogne forest. Only one so far, but I think I have spotted where they are nesting this year and will have to keep an eye out in the next couple of weeks. Shy buggers, I had a chance to take a photo, but the speech of a couple passing by scared him and he fled to the other side of the river. And in the end all I could do was pensively contemplate a bright spot about 50 meters away from me

Cropped at 400mm focal length, on a 47 megapixel sensor. Well, it is what it is. At least something can be seen and it's already a joy. Anyway, I'll go and get these guys again this week, maybe something will come out. I'll just have to make sure it's less crowded. Should I skip school? All right, that's just a story

On that happy note, I want to wish you all the best for the coming year. And see you soon!
