Good evening, readers!

Here is the end of our little trip along the north coast of France. As I wrote in a previous post, our last stop was to be the Abbey of Mont St. Michel, which you can see in all its glory on the internet, just kidding, here it is, put in the title of this post

I'm going to honestly try my best here to collect all the "successful" photos I took in this place, but to put it bluntly - the impressions we had were quite mediocre

Reason one is the weather. Rain and overcast skies accompanied us for the entire length of the trip. On the other hand - well, it's November, what else do you expect.
On the other hand - gosh, you have to look for a more touristy place in France. And that's in the worst sense. It's not that I was dissatisfied, not a bad hotel (except for the construction under the windows), excellent, here without jokes transportation accessibility.

The problem is, it's all about the tourists. A huge number of dubious souvenir stores on a single street, an insane amount of people even in the middle of November, and most importantly - it's just FUCKING bad food in the restaurants

Have you ever tried watered-down onion soup?А Well, we did. And that's not counting the fact that the price tag in this, uh, restaurant is quite comparable and even higher than in Paris. In general, a few recommendations that I can give to those who are thinking of going there :

  • First, take food with you. You will save a lot of money, nerves, and in general will not spoil your vacation
  • Second - there is absolutely nothing to do there with an overnight stay, unless of course you just want to put a check mark that you spent the night here

Okay, I'm burning up.

But as a nice bonus, on our evening there, the sky stretched out, and despite the fact that the sunset itself was obscured by a cloud creeping on the horizon, I managed to capture some pretty bright shots.
Generally there are two kinds of shots I took there, the first, gray and flat, which I took in the afternoon, and these are the ones you see in front of you now, when for less than 30 minutes the sun came out and allowed me to shoot with more interesting and saturated light. And I'll admit, everything looks much more interesting and alive in this light. And even then, in the evening, we managed to find a more or less decent place for dinner. If the dinner bill of 87 euros can be called decent.

And that's the end of it, back to my normal life in Paris, which now includes French courses and a job search.
See you soon,

André
