The Djili-Su tract is an area in Kabardino-Balkaria, in the Zolsky district, on the northern side of Mount Elbrus, with a large number of thermal springs and waterfalls. Just above the warm springs, up the Kyzyl-Kol River, is the largest waterfall of the Djili-Su tract, the Siltran-Su waterfall.

A distant and alluring place at the foot of Mount Elbrus, one of the most beautiful places in the world I have ever visited.

The weather is changeable, the altitude is 2300 meters above sea level, and this location is not too friendly for tourists, but with a competent guide (And a well-prepared off-road vehicle) it is quite achievable.

However, you can also drive a normal car if you want to. But you should be aware that there is no road to the most beautiful locations.

On the right-hand side of the road, you can see a car driving along a winding mountain road.

Mountain peaks wrapped in clouds, snow lying on the roads all year round, the perfect place to spend a week or more away from civilisation.

And no, it's not the fog in the shot above.

I highly recommend a visit to this place, especially if you like mountains.
