Good afternoon, honored readers,
As you realized, the pictures from our little vacation are out, but the bird pictures are not yet, and yes new ones were taken today
Paris, after a week of rain and gray skies, was happy with clear sunshine, and so despite having some things to do at home, the decision was made to go to the Bois de Boulogne forest to shoot some birds

A few birds - of course I'm kidding, because mostly I was lucky today to see herons, which closer to evening took their positions around the lake. Some of them were fishing, while others were just resting, cleaning their feathers and generally doing their bird business

This heron shyly tucked its nose under the wing, as if to say to us -
"I'm actually going to rest here, and you're meddling with your camera!"
Well, I'm not that tactful. On the other hand - compared to some people - more than enough. Tell me, why do you listen to loud music on your phone while walking in the woods? However, this is a question in general about why you listen to music on your phone without headphones, and not only in the forest (I take this opportunity to say hey to the Paris Metro)

In the shot above, who is peeping at whom is an open question. Most of the local herons are quite loyal to people around them. But you need to follow a couple of fairly simple rules:
- The first is to keep quiet. Seriously, you can get within a couple of meters if you do it quietly and silently
- The second rule, which follows from the first, is not to make any harsh movements
By following these two simple things - you can shoot like this, like the two photos above

The Bois de Boulogne is still my favorite location for bird photography. Or maybe I just live within a 10-minute walk of it. In general, I plan to put together a big article about the birds you may encounter there. So let's make this post and photos the beginning of a big guide to the birds of the Bois de Boulogne. Next time, we will talk about Cormorants

I wanted to add a caption here, but first of all, it's in Russian, and secondly, it's obscene. So we'll do without it
See you soon, and look through the trees, sometimes there are some very interesting inhabitants lurking there!
