Good evening, ladies and gentlemen,
I haven't written anything in a long time, and in general I haven't been in touch. The reason - the work, the release of a new version and what - something just crushed me. But then April came, and with them the first warm, and most importantly a long weekend. And we were finally able to escape from Paris to Fécamp, a city that I have long wanted to visit.

About three hours by train from Paris, with one change on the way, and voila, you find yourself on the coast of Normandy in a small port city. I went here for exactly one reason: the rocky shores around the city, and the Normandy coast in general, make me very fond of it. Honestly - I would like to live here, and I also love seafood... Hehe, but okay, let's not make any predictions yet.

View of the cliffs at low tide. In general, the town is located between two hills, and has excellent access to the sea. And as far as I can tell, it is also a very comfortable place for a beach holiday.

Above in the photo, a schematic representation of the city, and its history of development, the yellow arrow in the right photo tells us you are here.
So, defeating the subway, strikes, cancelled trains and buses, we still managed to get there. And now for the next couple of days I will write and post either pictures of cliffs and sea or local beauties and sights. Speaking of the latter - there are not many of them. Not taking into account the view sites on the right and left of the city, but as far as we know, the left one is now closed because of the landslide that happened there.

In general, walking under the cliffs is strongly discouraged and sort of forbidden... But we managed to get there before we read about all this.
As they say in my country - "Don't go there, don't go there, go here, - Snow will hit your head, you'll be absolutely dead".
The translation may not accurately convey the full meaning of the phrase, but I have no idea how to say it better.

So, continuing the story, I managed to get my feet wet, the weather, despite the piercing wind from the strait, was warm, and with intensive walking - dried my sneakers quickly enough. Let's praise the footwear manufacturer.

Above in the photo is the aftermath of the rockslide, wind, and sun doing their job.
So, speaking of interesting places to visit, I can't help but mention the Museum of Fisheries, and the history of the city. Very well located in the center of the city (conditionally in the center), next to a good restaurant of local cuisine, read seafood, it is quite good shows the history of everything directly related to the existence of the city, ships, and other things.

Paintings, models of ships, things that allowed them to sail, as well as things that allowed them to build ships. One wood saw, which is about two and a half meters long, is worth a lot. As person who once tried to see "Druzhba", is such a saw, which is metal, with two handles on the ends, which takes its name from the mechanism, which requires the coordination of the efforts of two people. That is where the name comes from.

The first day in town was pretty simple: arrive, and throw things at the hotel. Check-in was at 17, so we just threw the luggage and went for a walk with our backpacks. Then we had a nice meal, visited a museum and went back to the hotel to rest. Getting up at 6 a.m. on a weekend is not very inspiring.
The bonus is my absolutely dead state after work, which I put myself in quite unexpectedly. Well, how unexpected - you need to take things a little easier, and everything will work out. But that's for another time and not in this article, maybe later I'll post a debriefing on the subject.
But no, I won't. I promised not to write here about work, and in this article, I already refer to it in every second paragraph.

These two pictures sort of show us - count your strength on the distance, and stop taking on more than you have to.
And for those of you who read my whining about work and trying to tell me something about the city, I managed to get out today for a sunset, which due to the fact that the weather is sunny, was fiery. Although of all the pictures I took - I like only two, the first of which is in the title of this article and the second I will put below.
However, I will put both of them, why not...

Have a good evening to you, all who have finished and will be in touch. Tomorrow is the second day in the city, with new museums and new walks!
See you soon and take care!
