Birds
![Birds of the Bois de Boulogne. Part IV](/content/images/size/w1200/2023/02/DSC_2950.jpeg)
It's been a long time since I've written anything, and I don't think I've posted any birds for an even longer time. What can I do, the times are such as they are now.
February.
I don't want to explain too much why February is a black month for me now, you know.
So let's talk about birds. In the photo in the header and in the photo above is a long-tailed tit. It is small, about 4 - 5 cm long, but it has a tail of about 10 cm, hence the name. Tiny, hardly noticeable in foliage, nevertheless are sometimes caught in the picture.
Blackbird, also a great lover of hide-and-seek. It does not allow itself closer than 10 to 12 meters and is very afraid of noise. Therefore, you should look for it away from people, and preferably by sneaking. Well, or first we catch it with binoculars, and then sneak with a camera in his direction.
European Robin, another tiny bird, with bright red breasts. But gods, how he screams! EAАААTING!!! Well, maybe not food, but sex, it's spring. But maybe even kids read us, so I won't go too deep into this one.
Common Chanffinch, a regular visitor to parks, lawns and everything in general, not afraid of people, but not very close to him.
A Eurasian Jay, if you look at the photo, it seems to be smiling. Their biggest problem is that they don't let you close to them. You have to shoot from a distance of 20 meters, if you're lucky. Usually hangs out high up in a tree.
